Lahore Kebab House at Shadwell Community

Authentic enough that even the natives of Lahore come here for the food. Everything is so reasonably priced here that you have no worry of burning holes through your pocket when enjoying the food here (don't forget to bring your own drinks though). Try making it on Friday, as the ubiquitous lamb chop curry will not be available any other day of the week. But have no fear if you miss this, as the Keema curry will also be an unforgettable experience. Read more about other's comments here

St Pancras YHA Hostel at King's Cross St. Pancras Community

Yha Accomodation on a budget.  Why not stay at the Youth Hostel, opposite St Pancras Station for as little as £17.50 per night for a single.

Millenium Bridge at St. Paul's Community

Spans across the Thames from St. Paul's to the Tate Modern. Although it suffered certain engineering problems when first opened, they have all been rectified now. This is a footbridge and is a great way to cross the river between two famous landmarks.

The Ledger Building at Westferry Community

Ledgerbuilding A Grade II listed building, but that is not what makes it worth visiting. Ask any worker in Canary Wharf and they will tell you about this nicest watering hole in the area. The ambience is nice, the bar is long enough you never have to wait too long to be served, and most important of all, the food is excellent, with happy hours after 2:00pm, where you can order for two lunches and only pay for one. Check out the pub guide here

Dockmasters Pub and Restaurant at Westferry Community

Dockmasters What do you do when you and your work colleagues decide to go out for a pint or two at lunchtime and you discover that, because of a nice day, everyone else in Canary Wharf have had the same idea ? Well, there is this little known pub a short walk away from the main stream ones which always guarantees to get you close to the bar after very little attempt. The surroundings is quiet (hence the nickname 'The Graveyard'), and the supplemental food menu is Indian, which is a perfect compliment.
